The people and area were absolutely lovely and the world famous Dondoli gelato was delicious!!

You can climb 251 steps to the top. We did, and enjoyed the views.
We also did a guided tour of the main attractions of Pisa, the guide we had knew a lot about the place and its history; which helps a lot to understand how life and society used to be in ancient Pisa. I highly recommend this activity.
